My Hohem iSteady Q's pan motor seems to be making a slight grinding noise when moving slowly. Is this normal or a sign of an issue?

Mine doesn't make any grinding noise, just a very faint hum. I'd contact customer support if it's noticeable. Could be an early bearing issue.

Yes, I use my a6300 with it and a small prime lens. Works perfectly. Balancing takes a bit of practice but it's very capable.
